Someone once
said that religion is the opium of the people. Given this statement we
obfuscate; but when we want to give the reasons why we say that this is not so
we go back to supra-worldly truths of intangible effects
It's easy and
sometimes funny to think that with our faith are merely toppling walls and
conquering kingdoms for God; besides, it's nice to assume, "by
faith," we are great strongholds for change that humanity needs.
And while we dream of these "holy
assumptions" our brothers abused within the household of faith, cry out to
God for His Spirit to move the hearts of those believers insensitive to human
suffering, and do something to improve living conditions and we all need them.
(Heb 13.1-3)
