A savior king in the
XXI century? Yes, and capitalized: King Salvador. To reach such dignity
Nazareth Jesus must not only respond to the prophetic requirements of their
Jewish ancestors, but subjected to the most ruthless torture of all history.
Surely many people have suffered similar torture or worse than him, but you
have to keep in mind at least two aspects of this ordeal to be considered as
the most representative of all humanity:
A) It
was voluntary, he did it for love. If Jesus had decided not to make this
martyrdom, perhaps things would go more or less as usual ... Multitudes
immersed in selfish and ineffective religious traditions feelings, sometimes
flooded to the crown, without themselves they perceive it, being at will run by
religious machinery that promote dulling their sense of reality.
B) It
was an inmate to death who did not utter a curse. Any javelin expressed by him
it had placed at the same level of any political leader; but as was the Lamb of
God, to the God he was not harboring in his heart feelings of resentment. This
was demonstrated when he asked his father for forgiveness for his executioners.
These features framed with great merit conquered his title of "King
Savior." For many people it just means a touching tale of religious
literature. For others it is something we must accept as truth by faith to have
beneficial subjective effects, but nothing more.
We read in Ro.5.8 "But God demonstrates
His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
us." When here says: "for us", we must understand it as
"for us" and not "instead of us", as claimed by some
heretics to justify their low trends. They say: "As Christ and his
sacrifice paid what we deserve for our offenses, then we can do what we please,
because despite everything we are justified before God." This false
reasoning totally distorts the meaning of Christian salvation.
To better understand
the term "salvation" we must first understand that the release plan
that the Father Creator arranged for Humanity (divine plan of government led by
King Jesus, guided by the doctrinal principles of the Constitution-the Holy
Scriptures, and in which participants have directly from the strength of the
Spirit of God and the help of his angels) is something not only true but it was
designed so that it became a reality in our midst. This government program that
our King Savior offers us to overcome all the evils and injustices of humanity,
contains three basic aspects that must discern clearly:
The Eternal Father promises and promises to
forgive all sins or offenses against him on the merits of the sacrifice of his
Son, his Sacrificial Lamb anyone who repented sinner recognizes his status as a
rebel, and ask forgiveness said. To achieve this grace we not have to do any
work. That is why Scripture says: "For by grace you have been saved through
faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not by works, so that
no one can boast "(Ef.2.8).
The second aspect is that those who receive
the forgiveness of our sins, but often must live with the temptations of
falling into sin, we have the strength of the Holy Spirit to overcome. We read:
"Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for
the remission of sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For to you is
the promise, and to your children, and for all who are far off, tales the Lord
our God will call "(Acts 2.38-39.)" For if you live according to the
flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you mortify the deeds of the body, ye
shall live. "(Ro.8.13)" Having purified your souls in obeying the
truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned brotherly love, love one another
deeply, pure heart "(1-P.1.22).
The third aspect is that those who
participate in this Kingdom valgamos us the gifts and talents that our Eternal
Father gave us to collaborate in the work of her Son, (See Lc.19 11-27.) Let us
be clear: the divine government was transferred from Israel to the Church
(Mt.21.43; Lc.12.32). It is in its development stage, growing as a tree
(Matthew 13: 31-32), and even within it there are weeds, enemies of God (Mt.13.
41-43), will have its full manifestation when the King Jesus himself invited
his followers to take full possession of this wonderful kingdom prepared from the
foundation of the world for those who voluntarily elect to apply
We experience the great benefits of living
"under the new regime of the Spirit" (Ro.7.6) when we obey, among
others, commands such Comoa) Have partnership commitments only with the people
of God, becoming this way real "members body of Christ "(2-Co.6
14-18; 7.1; 1-Co.12.27.) .B) Redistribute among believers economic resources
generated by themselves, investing for their own welfare and development:
education, work , housing, health, sport, etc. (2-Co.8. 13-15). Transparency
and accountability in the management of these resources should be absoluta.C)
Allow the Holy Spirit of God to exercise their sovereignty through truly
theocratic government. Every congregation or Christian institution should be cared
for by a Council of Bishops or Body of Pastors who seek to be guided by the
Holy Spirit, so that to reach this dignity should be subject to the conditions
laid down in the Holy Scriptures (1. Ti.3.1-7; Tit 1: 5-9).. A single person
should never exercise full authority in any congregation. (Hch.14. 23).
