The
community of believers, that is, the Church, is named as the Body of Christ.
Such an expression is not mere adornment. It points to the social dimension of
salvation.
Only by
being part of this special people can a person prove and give character to his
vocation to live under the sovereignty of King Jesus, because in submitting to
his government or Kingdom he may, as an individual or community, "so that
you may proclaim the virtues of that Who called you out of darkness into his
marvelous light "(1-P.2.9-10), so that" ... by following the truth in
love, let us grow in everything in him who is the head, that is, Christ, Body,
well-arranged and united to each other by all the joints that help each other,
according to the activity of each member, receives its growth to build itself
up in love "(Eph.4: 15-16).
