No one
can doubt that there are many pastors or communities under the Kingdom of God
that are integral, spiritual and moved by the Holy Spirit. But the diabolical
tri-unity of love of money, power and prestige are both seductive power that
Paul felt the need to call some of these leaders, admonishing against this
terrible moral plague the world so that it will not harm their ill effects to
the Church, as is unfortunately happening today in many places.
"Behold,
I know that none of you among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God,
shall see my face. Therefore I testify to you today that I am innocent of the
blood of all, because I have not shunned to declare the whole counsel of God.
Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made
you overseers, to feed the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
For I
know that after my departure will come in among you, grievous wolves not
sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men speaking perverse things, to
draw away the disciples themselves will rise. Therefore watch, remembering that
for three years, night and day, I ceased not with tears to admonish each.
And now,
brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to
build you up and give you an inheritance among all the sanctified. Silver or
gold or clothing of no one I coveted. You yourselves know that for me it has
been necessary to me, and those who are with me, these hands have served me. In
all things I showed you that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to
remember the words of the Lord Jesus, who said more blessed to give than to
receive "
This
apostle, faithful interpreter of the teachings of God's Anointed, saying,
"to do good, and mutual help, forget not" (He.13.16) In other words,
in the communities of the Kingdom of God (Christian organizations ) there
should be no "double standards but the Law of Christ, for it is
written:" Carry each load of others, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
"(Gá.6.2). "So we continue contributing to peace and to mutual
edification." (Ro.14.19)
