One of the unfortunate
economic policies of the world is that the rich are getting richer at the
expense of the poor getting poorer. But the people of God, to escape this
sinister attitude, was given the principle of equality: "For I mean not
that others may be eased and you burdened, but that at this time, with
equality, your abundance may be a shortage of them, so that their abundance may
be a supply for your want: that there may be equality, as it is written: he who
gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack "(2
.Co.8.13-15).
To obey this
command is necessary that the community in which you want to implement is administered,
not by dictators, but by a group of the most spiritual believers elected every
so often (eg every two years), because people and circumstances can change ;
the Holy Spirit will lead the congregation toward a good choice.
With the
adoption of tithing as the basis of an egalitarian economy seeks to be fair
abundance for all the house of God (Mal.3.10; He.3.6), ie, that no sincere
believer and approved suffer the pangs of poverty when they can avoid through
mutual aid. Apply this standard in a community of believers and soon give up
those who did not serve for the sake of the cause, but by mere selfish
interests.
But
who will take the initiative to reform the current religious monetized and
inhumane system? Of course they will not those who are accommodated in the
seats of indolence manipulating the weak conscience of those who wander through
life with dormant spiritual senses, at most compliant and hopeful because they
are part of some sect or very popular name. But so will those who are guided by
the true Holy Spirit who is in us to will and to do; also because "For all
the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, by us, to the glory of
God" (2-Co.1.20).
