Preach
the gospel of the Kingdom is a commandment (Mt.28.18-20). But what is the best
way to do this? Peter wrote: "You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a
holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him
who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" (1-P.2.9). Here
we are invited to preach as a community example. The same Master said:
"You are the light of the world; a city set on a hill can not be hid. Or
light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to
all who are at home. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your
good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. "(Mt.5.14-16).
Since the Kingdom of God is not only in
words, the rule should be: "If you do not the works of my Father, believe
me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works, that you may
know and understand that the Father is in me and I in the Father. "(Jn.
10.37-38).
Today many Christians called hidden or manifest their desire to live according
to the ways of this world, take some other biblical quote to justify their
carnal tendencies.
One
such quotations is: "I have become weak to the weak, to win the weak; all
I have done everything so that all means save some. And this I do for the
gospel, that I may share it. "(1-Co.9.22-23). But these were private
attitudes that took Paul to specific cases, and was not a general position.
Besides, he never became a sinner to win sinners, but ... "to those who
are without law, as without law".
This
same apostle, who used these strategies evangelism, in specific cases, was the
same as that transmitted the message of the Master key to the realization of
the divine liberation project, one of whose foundation is unity, not imaginary
or mystical, but real , of God. Here it could apply the saying: "Together
but not scrambled."
Together,
because the Messiah himself said: "I pray that out of the world, but to
keep them from evil. They are not of the world, as I am not of the world ... As
you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. (Jn.17.15-16,18),
and "but not mixed" because the Messiah himself said through the
apostle Paul: "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers" He
concludes: "So, beloved, since these promises, let us cleanse ourselves
from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of
God. " (2-Co.6.14-18; 7.1).
If
we do not unite "unequally yoked" with unbelievers, ie, have
commitments association with them, then, with whom should we have? Obviously
with the same members of the household of faith.
A
Christian congregation may say that living under the sovereignty of the divine
government or is participant of the Kingdom of God (in its current stage of
development), only if their parishioners are integrated and organized to carry
out the activities that human life requires.
