We can
distinguish three sources of power in the world with which it manages or
dominates human society: The political, military and economic power. The power
puffed up, intoxicated, and gigantic ego; becomes addictive, and always wants
more; It produces pain and humiliation of having to leave. However, for those
who recognize their poverty and spiritual need (Mt.5.3), the Savior of the
world offers another kind of power so that they can be freed from all kinds of
tyrannies.
The Lord God
had made that promise long before his Lamb surrender his life in martyrdom; and
it was precisely on the basis of this sacrifice that began having promised
compliance, which endures to this day. Appearing to his disciples after the
resurrection, the Master said, "... you will receive power when there come
upon you the Holy Spirit, and you will be my witnesses ... to the ends of the
earth." (Hch.1.8).
The apostle
Peter and instructed the crowd: "Repent, and be baptized every one of you
in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit. For to you is the promise and to your children,
and to all who are afar as many as the Lord our God shall call.
"(Hch.2.38-39)
The first
tyranny that must be released, through this power that God offers us as a gift,
is one that holds us immorality. Thus St. Paul says, "For if you live
according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the
deeds of the body you will live. "" Having purified your souls in
obeying the truth through the Spirit to brotherly love unfeigned, love one
another deeply, from the heart. "(1-P.1.22)
But this goes
far beyond liberation. He not only wants us to bodily health, and our purified
souls, but also wants us to be prosperous in all, (3-John 2). This divine power
is not blind or produce chaos. It is guided by the revealed word and defines
its parameters basically within ten (10) principles: 1) Holiness (He.12.14), 2)
Integration (Jn.17.21; Ef.4.14-16; one-Co.12.25 -27), 3) Solidarity and service
(He.13.16), 4) Equality, (2-Co.8.13-15), 5) Activism (Mt.12.30), 6) Integral
Prosperity, (3-John. 2) 7) No violence (Ro.12.21), 8) Community Theocracy
(Ef.5.21), 9) Longing for the Holy Spirit, and enable you to develop your power
in us, (Hch.1.8), and 10) Accept Bible as the sole and sufficient revealed
truth, the word of the Kingdom of God (Mt.13.19).
These
principles applied in personal and community life of the people of God make the
mystery of God revealed to the world (Col.1.26-27) is the best solution to
eradicate poverty, injustice and indifference. The Kingdom of God is in force
in our country, and each of us who participated in it were given gifts and
talents to ensure its smooth progress and development to the same Savior in
person perfect and complete this great project. Meanwhile we must prepare us
for the Spirit of God unites us and fill us with joy in this life and forever.
